By accessing and using HONMONO Nutrition Encyclopedia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.

The Service provides a free nutritional information search tool based on publicly available food composition databases (MEXT, USDA) and scientific literature (PubMed). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice or liability.

3. User Responsibility

You use the Service entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or health outcomes resulting from the use of information provided by the Service. 4. Commercial Use Restrictions

Without prior written consent from HONMONO:

• You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, or use the content for commercial purposes.
• Data compilations, design elements, text, graphics, and source code may not be scraped, copied, or repackaged.
• Automated access (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to the Service or its API endpoints is strictly prohibited.
• Systematic downloading or bulk extraction of data is prohibited.

Personal, non-commercial use and fair-use quotation with attribution are permitted.

5. Minors

If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Prohibited Activities

All trademarks, logos, service names ("HONMONO", "Eiyo Zukan", "栄養成分検索図鑑"), design elements, and original content are the intellectual property of HONMONO and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Underlying nutritional data sourced from public databases (MEXT, USDA) remains subject to their respective terms. PubMed article metadata is used under fair use. See our Copyright page for details.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, affiliate programs, and external services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
